SC Fitness Group has already opened 100 fitness clubs

SC Fitness Group was founded in Portugal and has been delivering a fitness concept based on accessibility and quality of service for over 30 years. It currently operates the Solinca and Element Gyms brands with over 200,000 members. The group currently operates 35 Solinca clubs and 52 Element Gyms clubs in Portugal, as well as 13 fitness centers in the Czech Republic, while continuing to invest in domestic and international expansion and in strengthening its fitness offer for all.

“Reaching the 100 club mark represents much more than just growth. It reflects our ability to bring fitness and healthier lifestyle habits to an ever-increasing number of people through accessible concepts that are close to people and fit naturally into everyday life,” says Bernardo Novo, CEO of SC Fitness.

Element Gyms has been on the Czech market since 2024 and is constantly expanding. The brand is changing the way we look at modern fitness – design, space and comprehensive equipment for individual training. No reception, no contracts and no unnecessary obstacles. All you need is an app, a QR code and a desire to move. The concept is based on a simple idea – exercise should be a natural part of the day, not a logistical challenge. Membership starts from 99 crowns per week, without obligations or complicated paperwork. Everything is handled online – from registration to entering the gym.

Long-term development in the Czech Republic

Element Gyms is constantly expanding its operations in the Czech Republic and now covers eight cities and operates 13 gyms. During 2025, the network grew to include new branches in Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Karviná, Pardubice, Přerov, Frýdek-Místek and Prostějov. Already this spring, more new branches will be added in Opava, Zlín, the third branch of Olomouc Zenit and Brno Dlouhá. Element Gyms continues its plan to bring quality fitness services to places where they have been lacking so far – with an emphasis on design, functionality and affordability, and in 2026 it will develop its activities to other regions in the Czech Republic, including Prague.
