The connection between movement and mental health will be the focus of a special workshop taking place on September 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Element Gyms Liberec.
The workshop is part of the European #BEACTIVEDAY 2026 campaign and the nationwide “Active September” (Aktivní ZÁŘÍ) campaign. This year’s edition focuses on the theme of Mental Health & Wellbeing, highlighting how caring for the body and the mind go hand in hand.
What can you expect?
An inspiring workshop and discussion offering expert insights into how physical activity affects our mental state and contributes to a healthier, happier life. You will learn about the importance of movement for mental health, motivation, and building a positive relationship with physical activity.
The event will be led by Assoc. Prof. Klaudia Zusková, Ph.D., a specialist in the psychology of sport and physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and prevention. She works at the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Hradec Králové, and is a member of the Association of Sport Psychologists of the Czech Republic.
