How to properly plan exercise and training so that it makes sense, brings results and at the same time respects health? This seminar offers a practical and scientifically based view of exercise planning – from basic recommendations for the general population to systematic training for athletes.
Element Gyms Prostějov, February 7, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, limited capacity.
Tickets available at GoOUT.
Workshop program
- WHO movement classification and recommendations
- Training goal from training unit to macrocycle
- Training unit composition
- Training variables and working with them
In the introduction, participants will be introduced to the classification of physical activities and the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). They will be able to correctly interpret them in practice, for different target groups, and also to clearly define the boundary between the “health minimum” and targeted training.
The next part of the seminar focuses on setting a training goal and planning over time – from an individual training unit, through micro- and mesocycles, to a long-term macrocycle. We will show how the individual levels of planning are related to each other and how to ensure that each training session fits into the overall concept.
The composition of a training session is also an important chapter. We will discuss the logic of the warm-up, the main parts of the training and the conclusion, their meaning and the most common mistakes that we encounter in practice. Everything will be supplemented with specific examples and practical recommendations.
Finally, the seminar will focus on working with training variables – volume, intensity, frequency, pace, pauses or selection of exercises – and above all on their management over time. Participants will learn how to use these tools to support adaptation, performance and regeneration and how to avoid stagnation or overload.
The seminar is intended for everyone who wants to truly understand training, plan it effectively, and rely on data and principles, not chance.
